Digital media training for teachers in Ghana
Our in-service training for teachers in digital media skills in public schools in Ghana at Keta Senior High Technical School has taken place in August & September 2012 in Keta, Ghana. Basically the name says it all – it is about training teachers on digital literacy and how to use IT in their daily work. Here’s some blog posts to read up on it:
- Keta project – looking back
- News & pics from our Keta project after two weeks course
- News from our Keta project after a week course
And here’s also a group picture of all the participants in 2012:
We’re now thinking about how to go on with the project and open for suggestions and of course donations.
One thing that will happen for sure is the creation of a digital learning device for the school in the course of Margarete’s PhD at University of Technology Graz. But we also want have courses on the spot soon again to help Keta Senior High Technical school profit from the use of IT in their curriculum.
